In 2020 Origin was engaged by Macy’s to manage the CTV portion of their Holiday Anthem. Origin’s unique CTV assets aligned with Macy’s video creative and successfully elevated the impact of the campaign.
This year, Origin was delighted for the return of the holidays and the opportunity to work with Macy’s again.
During the month of November, Origin elevated CTV attention and impact of Macy’s brand new holiday anthem: a stunning 90 second stop-motion film featuring Macy's "Tiptoe the Reindeer".
In addition to being the exclusive 2021 CTV distributor of the full 90-second Macy’s spot, Origin also produced unique 15 second branded animations that ran before and after the Macy’s spot on CTV. The result was a “bookend” experience that emotionally prepared viewers for the Macy's anthem before it started, and left them engaged and talking to each other after it finished.
By producing original CTV video creative, Origin also succeeded in creating a native environment that allowed Macy's to “own” the entire ad break and retain viewers for its full duration.
Macy’s produced cutdown durations of their Holiday campaign. This year, Origin also developed custom CTV “Toppers” that captured viewer attention before the shorter versions of their Holiday Anthem.
