Award-winning advertising executive Mitch Halfen joins Origin as Director, CTV Sales

An award-winning marketing and advertising executive, Mitch has spent his career delivering outsized results for the companies he's worked for and clients he's represented across the agency, publisher and data landscape.

Graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Digital Media & Marketing from Northeastern University and professional experience that spans Carat, CBS, Media-Corps, Alliant Data and Wiland, Mitch's capabilities have been tested and proven across the board.

From driving new business to crafting effective media strategies and selling impactful marketing campaigns across both digital and traditional platforms, Mitch believes that his strengths come from the diversity of his media career. A true team player, he believes in helping others around him succeed and loves few things more than solving seemingly unsolvable challenges. 

Addressing why Mitch was selected for the role, Origin CEO Fred Godfrey said: "We were 5 minutes into the interview when it became clear that Mitch has the skills and character required to take strategic lead of our newest creative format, Aperture. He is professional, concise and most importantly he doesn't feel the need to 'wow' with buzz words; he simply lets his knowledge, confidence and love for advertising do the talking. In other words, his nature couldn't resonate more closely with how Origin operates as a company."

When asked what drew him to Origin, Mitch said: "I saw the rise of CTV while serving at my last role and knew I needed to find a position that would let me bring everything I have to the table. And while there were a few options out there, Origin is the only company I know whose entire mission is dedicated exclusively to the TV screen". He went on to say, "Origin's obsession with inventing new creative formats that put a brand's success first is clear to see and their public reputation for transparency is genuine. In short, this kind of commitment resonates with me."

Outside of work, Mitch pursues his passion for grassroots enduro racing on Long Island, enjoys skiing and volunteers as a travel soccer coach.
